Hey y'all. Today is the first day of school. For the boys. So y'all already know I had to set up something special for my sweet babies. I did the majority of this last night because I know I'm just not a morning person and I didn't want to be rushing this morning. They breakfast on our kitchen island. So I decided I was gonna decorate this area this time. Normally I do our kitchen table. Logan had to work last night so I had absolutely no help at all. And let me just tell y'all, I desperately needed someone to tell me that I was not hanging that banner center. Thank goodness for editing, or y'all would be sitting here all day watching me fix this dang banner. I would tape it up, step back, look at it, I didn't like how it looked, so then I'd go redo it. I did that about three or four times. It finally looked good enough. And I realized that I actually really liked decorating this area instead of the table. And also, I just wanna say that I may have spent $30 on all of this decor. I got the banners off Amazon for $5. The cute little back to school stuffies from Target. I think they were $3. My sister made these back to school boards years ago, so we've been reusing them every single year. She made this banner years ago, so we've been reusing them every single year. And let me just say, this was a pain in the butt to hang. I tried glue dots, I tried tape. I tried glue dots, I tried tape. This banner was so heavy, it did not want to stay. But I finally got it to stay. Once I got all of the decor put out, I loved how it looked. And I decided I wanted to add a little special touch. And as most of you guys know, the boys are super into squishies right now. So I just added a couple small squishies to just get them excited. And they absolutely loved eating donuts for breakfast. So I set those out for tomorrow. And this was as far as I got tonight. Everything is pretty much done and set up. I'll just have to get up in the morning and add the rest of their breakfast items. It turned out pretty cute. And you don't really have to spend a lot of money to make their morning special. I genuinely just cannot believe that summer is over already. I had so much fun this summer with the boys. And I absolutely love having them home. I cut out some strawberries and oranges and added that as well as some glasses of orange juice. And their back to school setup is all done. And they absolutely loved it. Which made it all worth it. Love y'all.
