These are my frosted lemon sugar cookie bars. Start with a moist and delicious lemon sugar cookie base, topped with the creamiest buttercream frosting. Truly are the perfect way to close out summer. Make this recipe, you're gonna start by adding sugar and lemon zest to a bowl. Mixing that together before you add in your butter and oil and mix again. Add in your eggs and almond extract and mix until combined. Before folding in all of your dry ingredients. Bake this in the oven, top with your buttercream and enjoy.
