I found my perfect petrichor scent. I've been to so many fragrance stores trying to find the perfect scent that smells like rain on hot concrete. I think I finally found it. This is Cognoscenti Fire and Rain. Yesterday, I decided to do a wear test to see if it lasts on my skin because not only do I want it to smell real, but I also want it to last and project. The first spray, extremely photo realistic, extremely ozonic, all the notes are there. Sweet, it's dusty, it's concrete, it's rain. I would say it lasted about four hours, but it fades out realistically after it spraying because it felt like I had my window open. My aura was hot rain on a hot summer day, which is perfect. Exactly what I'm looking for. And the most insane thing happened. I have a theory that every time I do a rain scent review, the universe just knows what's going on in my house because the craziest thunderstorm started rolling through, and inside my house it smelled like rain. And outside of my house it smelled like was. Awesome. I think after six hours, I just stopped smelling it. But it faded away because I just sniffed that shirt that I had on yesterday, smelled it. The shirt still had the scent. So if you really want the scent to last a long time, it smells better on your clothes than it does on your skin. Anyways. Cognoscenti no.44 Fire and Rain. My perfect scent. You guys for coming along this journey with me. I will still be doing petrichor reviews because I have received so many gracious fragrances. Maybe we can do a comparison. Anyways.
