fall, vampire, stele, find fall fragrances. The goal is to smell like a vampire. So we're going to smell, try to find some fall fragrances. I want to smell like a true gothic vampire. So I'm looking for notes of red wine, maybe some bloody notes, heavy church incense, maybe cold air, Jasmine. I love stele because anytime I have a specific set I'm looking for, they have like 30 fragrances that fit the bill. Vitriol by Maqueda really stood out to me because it opened very animalic, metallic, vampire, the kind that hunts in the woods, not the glamorous, sparkly kind. But it was definitely not wearable. The reviews were cracking me up. "Plz don't be fooled by any fancy descriptions, this smells like shit from a butt actual shit." "Rotting body farm. Literal cow shit sitting in the sun. Burnt rubber. Smelling rigor mortis and this back to back is a post mortem sensory narrative." Vampire recs: With the candle stick by Clue. Smells like hot wax, candles on a candelabra and red wine. Also Ensang noir by L'Entropiste. Smells like dried roses and fruity wine with some soil. Encenes suave by Matiere Premiere Smells like dutch incense with some vanilla. You guys recommended a few fragrances that stele didn't have, so I went over to Scent Bar to check them out. I have beef with Scent Bar, but they were nice to me this time, which I very much appreciate. But the candlestick clue smelled like a more Christmas candle scent. It was a bit more festive than I was looking for. I really enjoyed Bloody Wood. I think I want to get a sample of that because I loved the red wine and raspberry notes. I want to see how it wears on my skin. And before it's officially fall, I want to order a bunch of samples. So if there are any that you recommend, please let me know.
