The Millennial Retirement Crisis

I think over the course of the next few years we're gonna start to see so many more people pursuing a non-traditional retirement path. Some of those people might be pursuing it by choice and some might be pursuing it by force. People are already starting to rethink what their career looks like over the course of the next few years. They're worried about what AI is to reshape the industry that they work in. Some people are just simply burnt out and I think a lot of people are sick of and or questioning am I really trading this much of my life for a paycheck? People are really starting to question whether or not that's a good deal. I was reading this survey. 7 out of 10 people are mini-retirements, phased retirement, family leave... now considering some sort of alternative to the traditional retirement path. It just poses the question of people are thinking that the pathway their parents or their grandparents followed is not the same pathway that's gonna work for them. I'll share more about my mini-retirement soon and I don't maybe I just feel this way because I quit my corporate job a year ago and I was making good money but I didn't really have autonomy over my time. One for me was location flexibility. So if you're in a stage where you're reconsidering what the next 20 years of for you in your 30s or your 40s, let me know because I'm curious what people are and whether or not people are considering non-traditional retirements and what that looks like to you.
