Also life would become even safer, be less car, less DUIs and so forth. And it would take money away from local police stations who rake in money through traffic through speeding tickets and other car related incidents. Big oil has spent decades knowingly spreading disinformation of fossil fuels, rather than allowing transition to things like solar, nuclear, wind or of alternative cleaner energy, because it would provide the public with more energy independence, more money, and take money, power and control away from the organizations like big oil. Similarly with data centers. The reason they're able to be proposed and approved of months is because one, the council members approving them are either getting paid under the table or directly benefiting from them, and two, it shifts more money and control to the ruling class. Human advancement and happiness is being actively hindered because a couple men at the top can't stand to see anyone with money and autonomy.
