Sometimes looking after yourself looks like this. ❤️ Today I met up with @Kiefer an old work colleague for a drink and something to eat. We talked about the good old days, caught up on life, talked about our families… then got our shoes off and did 9 minutes of these Tai Chi-inspired movements. 😂💪 And I love that. Looking after your physical and mental health doesn’t always need to mean smashing yourself in the gym. Sometimes it’s good food, good conversation, reconnecting with an old mate, getting outside and moving your body. These 9 minutes have become part of my life now. Move. Breathe. Be present. Practise gratitude. Have a laugh. And doing it with someone else makes it even better. If you’ve got a mate you haven’t seen for a while, maybe this is your sign. Message them. Meet up. Talk. Move together. And if you fancy joining us, play this video on loop and do each movement for 60 seconds: 1️⃣ Lymphatic Hops 2️⃣ Body Waves 3️⃣ Trunk Twists 4️⃣ Arm Swings 5️⃣ Dead Arms 6️⃣ Golf Swings 7️⃣ Marches 8️⃣ Ballet Squats 9️⃣ Horse Stance 👇 Comment “DONE” if you joined in. 👊 Tag the mate you’d do this with. 📤 And share this if you think we should normalise mates meeting up to talk, laugh and look after their minds and bodies together. ❤️
