Here they are: 1. I lift weights using progressive overload. Building and maintaining muscle is important for strength, metabolism, and staying capable as you age. I’m not afraid to challenge myself. 2. I start my mornings with a walk outside every day. Walking is easy on the joints, great for my mental and physical health, supports overall health, and helps me sleep better. 3. I prioritize protein and fiber at meals. Both help keep me full and satisfied between meals. Prioritizing these two nutrients makes it much easier for me to eat enough to support my goals without constantly grazing or mindlessly snacking. 4. I honor rest days. I aim for 7+ hours of sleep and I don’t live in the gym. Recovery is part of the process. You don’t make progress by constantly running yourself into the ground. 5. I focus on consistency, not perfection. Once you understand that you don’t have to be perfect to make progress, you can let go of the all-or-nothing mentality. Consistency over time is what creates results. Nothing extreme. Just simple habits I can sustain year after year. You absolutely can be fit, strong, and confident in your 50s and beyond. ❤️ ✨ Free week of 30 min home dumbbell workouts. Macro calculator included. You keep this for life.
