I just lost a insurance company. I just lost a deal because of the insurance company, bro. Oh my god. I got a guy come in, right? He's looking at a 4Runner, limited, top of the line. It's like a $70,000 car. We get to the numbers, show him the financing, and I'm out of his budget just by. But I finally get him to agree with me. He meets me in the middle. We're a little bit. And we're at $1,300 a month. He's like, since we're out of the budget, let me at least call my insurance company and get an idea of what that'll cost. My head, I'm like, don't do that. Don't do that. Don't do that right now. But I'm like, sure, go for it. He calls. He puts them on speaker. Puts it on the desk. I sit back and I'm listening. I'm listening. The questions, details about the car. The dude takes like 10 minutes first of all to put us on hold to gather up the quote. So he builds this dramatic tension. And after building all this tension, he comes back 10 minutes later on the phone. He's like, are you ready for the quote? Like, you ready for this quote? Now he tells him, your payment on the 4Runner is gonna be $1,100 for insurance. Bro. He's gotta be reading some books. My guy looked at. I already know I lost the deal. I'm looking at him like, what you think? He walked out and I'm I don't got a deal. Pay first of all, who trying to pay $1,300 a month for a 4Runner? I understand cars right now is the average car price in America is $50,000. That's why. That's why I just buy me a beater. I'll ride around in. You see me. But I'll ride around in a $5,000 car, bro. I was a before my truck got totaled. My truck was what? 17 years old. I would still ride off for years, running good. I was riding. They totaled my truck. I don't see the point of paying that type of money for vehicles, man. And if you buy a car, have to get a payment, make sure you sucker off in a year or 18 months. No more than 2 years. You know what I mean? That's ridiculous. $1,300 about insurance on. Insurance on top of that. Then you talk about service and maintenance and oil changes, all that. Today. Not lasting ones we had, you know, ones back in the day, 2010s and and below. These cars breaking down. Shit, 24 months in. Breaking down on the way to leaving. Some people say they got a brand new truck and had to get towed back to the dealership. So yeah, I, it's wild out, man. I'd have walked away with that type of insurance quote. To the next one.
