Most women learn this too late. Some never learn it at all. Brutal career advice corporate women need at 32, not 42. 1️⃣ Nobody remembers who worked hardest. They remember who asked loudest. 2️⃣ Your manager is not your friend. They have a budget. You are a line in it. 3️⃣ The quietest woman in the room is the most forgettable one. 4️⃣ Qualifications stop mattering fast. Relationships are what move you. 5️⃣ You are not too busy to network. You are too scared. Different problem. 6️⃣ Crying after tough feedback is fine. Crying in the room costs you months of credibility. 7️⃣ “I feel underpaid” opens a conversation. A specific number closes one in your favor. 8️⃣ Reliable is the floor. Everyone shows up. Nobody gets promoted just for showing up. 9️⃣ If your company announced layoffs tomorrow, do you know if you are safe? That answer should never surprise you. 🔟 One income source is not a plan. It is a risk. I am a corporate recruiter turned confidence and career coach for women. I believe we have been conditioned to make ourselves small and I want to help break that.
