Nobody sat me down for this. But I’m telling you. 1️⃣ Look put together especially on the days you feel like a hot mess. Like it or not, how you show up changes how people treat you and how you see yourself. 2️⃣ Get a journal and just start writing. Better to pick up a pen and let it all out than to vent to a friend every single time. It is a skill that will save your relationships. 3️⃣ Pick one hobby that has nothing to do with productivity. Something you do for pure joy and nothing else. Work is not everything in life. 4️⃣ Pick one day a month where you plan absolutely nothing and just let the day unfold. Call it your mental health reset. 5️⃣ Pick a cause you care about, animals, church, homeless people, and volunteer. It is important to put your problems in perspective and get out of your own head. 6️⃣ Have a morning routine. Praying, no screen time, a nice breakfast, a long walk. Whatever works for you. Just have one and protect it every single day. 7️⃣ Pick your outfits and pack your work bag the night before. Get the little things done before bed so you start your morning with less stress. 8️⃣ Unwind by cooking a real meal, moving your body, or calling a friend. You do not have to live for the weekend. Build small pockets of rest into your work week. 9️⃣ Every Sunday night write down three things you want to accomplish that week. Not the big goals. Small ones. Even uncluttering your wardrobe counts. 🔟 Stop living for the future. Your life is here. Your life is now. Build habits that create a life you actually enjoy living.
