You have not been unfocused your whole life. You have been under-structured. Millennial women between 32 and 42. If you work in corporate, start these 10 habits before it is too late. 1️⃣ Know your exact market rate. Not a rough estimate. The number. You cannot negotiate what you cannot name. 2️⃣ Start logging the skills you use outside your job description. That list is your portfolio. It already exists. You just have not been tracking it. 3️⃣ Stop treating your side interest like a hobby until it proves itself. That is how 10 years pass and it never gets its chance. 4️⃣ Build relationships outside your company. Your next move will not come from the org chart you are trying to outgrow. 5️⃣ Update your LinkedIn to reflect who you are, not just where you work. A job title is not a personal brand. 6️⃣ Stop over-committing to your current lane because of the years you have already put in. Sunk cost is not a career strategy. 7️⃣ Start investing now. The financial cushion you build today is what turns the next pivot from a panic into a plan. 8️⃣ Track your wins in writing every week. When it is time to move, you need evidence, not memories. 9️⃣ Find one person who has actually done what you are trying to do. A mentor who only validates where you already are will not move you forward. 🔟 The women who stay stuck longest are not the ones with the fewest options. They are the ones waiting for one clear answer before they allow themselves to move. I am a corporate recruiter turned confidence and career coach for women. I believe we have been conditioned to make ourselves small and I want to help break that. Comment COACH if you are ready to take a bet on yourself.
