Switzerland. Overwhelming. Literally to plan trips. So here's the exact itinerary I wish someone gave me before I went. My name's Dalia, I'm a travel agent and every Sunday I drop a new sample itinerary for a different destination all around the world. So if you love authentic and immersive travel, follow for more travel tips and sample itineraries. Day 1: Grindelwald. We're gonna land, hop on a train and go right to Grindelwald. Two and a half hour ride. It's scenic, it's gorgeous. Just look up on which side of the train to sit on. We'll arrive, settle in and have dinner at this spot. Some of the best fondue your entire life. And you get a beautiful view of the town. Day 2: Jungfraujoch. We're heading straight to the top of Europe. Start the morning off by taking a gondola up to Männlichen. Walk the panoramic trail for insane views all the way to Kleine Scheidegg. They'll catch the train to the highest railway in all of Europe. Walk through the Ice Palace that's carved into the glacier. Check out the observation deck for some insane views. Day 3: Grindelwald First. We're headed to Grindelwald First. Take the gondola up or even hike. And once you're up there, do the iconic Cliff Walk. If you don't feel like waiting in line to take that one picture, go right next to it. No crowds and pretty much just as beautiful. Afterwards, we're gonna hike over to Bachalpsee. If it's a clear day, you get a beautiful view of the mountain peaks reflecting right on the water. The mountains so picturesque, it literally feels like a fairy tale. Next Sunday, I'll follow up with the rest of the itinerary. We'll visit more mountain villages, beautiful waterfalls and some fairy tale cities. Day 4: Base in Lauterbrunnen or Interlaken. Drop the bags off and we're headed straight to Schilthorn. Visit the infamous revolving restaurant and check out the James Bond history. Head back down to Mürren and explore the carless village and the cliffside views and grab an espresso shot because you're gonna need it. Day 5: Oeschinensee. When you think of views can't get any better, we're headed to the most iconic lake in all of Switzerland. Take the train to Kandersteg. It's actually a really underrated mountain village by the way. We'll ride up the gondola and it's about a 30 minute walk to the lake. With water so turquoise, it actually looks fake. Mountains so picturesque, it literally feels like a fairy tale.
