Country & city pairings you can do in one trip

If you're already spending a fortune on a flight, just see one city respectfully, you are actually leaving a whole lot of opportunity on the table. Let's go through city and country pairings that makes sense and are easy to do logistically, and some of them are not that obvious. Number one, we're starting off strong with three countries. Menton is right on the French Riviera with pastel buildings, lemon trees, and way more underrated than its neighboring niece. Monaco is only a 10-minute train ride away, and just 45 minutes past the Italian border is Apricale, which is a beautiful, beautiful stone village in the hills. Next up, we have three spots. Himara is right on the Albanian Riviera with beautiful turquoise water and beaches, and with way less crowds than some other areas. Saranda is just a quick one-hour drive south. And from there you can take the ferry to Corfu, Greece. You get both the Albanian coast and a beautiful Greek island. Number three, I definitely don't think this is a common pairing. Taipei, you've got lots of night markets, hot springs, some of the best food in Asia that you're gonna get for a really good price. Okinawa is only in 90-minute direct flight away, but it's nothing like that typical Japan that you think of. It was actually its own kingdom at one point and you can really tell through the food and architecture and its own culture. Number four, we've got the very underrated Baltics. Tallinn actually has one of the best preserved medieval old towns in Europe. And Helsinki is only a two-hour ferry ride from Tallinn. You've got beautiful designs, saunas, and it's a water front. And from Tallinn you can take a quick one-hour direct flight to Riga, Latvia and check out the Art Nouveau architecture over there. Number five, you're already flying to Cancun, then you need these pairings as well. From Cancun, it's only a four-hour drive to Merida, which is a colonial city with cenotes and Mayan ruins right nearby. And only two more hours away is Campeche, a walled port town with beautiful pastel colors that everyone just skips over. Doing a multi-city trip is not always realistic, but if you have the opportunity, definitely try to do it.
