AICPA & CIMA Your CPA Exam Score Is About to Take Longer

The best time to take your CPA Exam is going to be gone. The CPA Exam is going to be gone. The AICPA just announced that because of a new tech update, they're going to go back to the OG evolution days where it could take up to three months to get your score back after taking your exam. In 2027, if you take your test in July, you're going to have to wait until October to get your score back. That's absolutely ridiculous. When I was centering for the CPA Exam, it was the very first year that they rolled out the discipline. It was called CPA Evolution. And I had the exact same feeling when I had to take a window where I'd have to take two months not knowing if I passed my exam or not, because I had no idea if I needed to restudy or if I could move on to the next exam. You think that with all of the new AI and technology, that there's no way she'd be taking up to two to three months to get your CPA Exam passed, especially when it's all multiple choice and just threw out numbers to each other.
