I can't believe it but I just saw someone literally with a straight face on this platform post that if you're making less than $180,000 a year in this country, you're living in poverty. And people are eating this up. Like the nastiest way that I can say this while still being respectful of people's situations is I think we have lost sight of what actual poverty is. Go into an inner city somewhere, go down here in the rural South with me where we've got old people that eat cat food literally because it's cheaper to buy a case of cat food than it is to get actual food from the store. Come around here and find houses that look like they're about to fall over with the family sitting on the front porch because they can't afford air conditioners or box fans because they can't afford them. That's poverty. You guys act like just because you can't have a three bedroom, two bath, two story house and Starbucks every morning and two nights a week that somehow your poverty written? Like, are we that disconnected from reality that we can actually sit on this platform and with a straight face say that anyone taking home less than $10,000 a month, their part, take home a month is living in poverty?
