There are only 3 types of jobs that make good money. By far the best explanation I've heard anyone make on how people are making money in this job market. And I was scrolling on here this morning and I wish I would have saved the video. I'd love to give this guy credit. If you guys saw the video, tag him. If I come across it later, I'll tag him. But he basically described there are three ways that people are making good money in this job market. And it was in response to a lot of the people who have these generic degrees or degrees that are not in demand that are now frustrated that they feel like they can't earn a decent living. And if you want to earn a really good living in this market, there are three ways to do it. The first way is to do a job that nobody wants to do. Nobody wants to do it. So we're talking in this scenario, we're probably talking about trades. We're talking about welders, we're talking about people that work on pipelines, people that travel, work with their hands, really tough work in the outside. People don't want to do that. You can make good money on it. The second is to do a job that takes a long time to be qualified for. So think of doctors, lawyers, jobs where you have to go and get your undergrad, your masters, a doctorate and have some sort of certification, pass some sort of a test, something like that. Takes a long time to get qualified to do the work. And then the third way that people are making really good money in this job market is to do jobs that not very many people can do. Now, I talk about number three a lot. Supply and demand is a big issue. And as you're planning on what you want to do, this is my message to young people if you're still hanging out with me. If you're planning on what you want to do, you either do something you're super passionate about and accept the chance that you might not make much money doing it, or you go and do the research and you find jobs that people don't want to do, find jobs that not everybody can do, or find jobs that take a long time to get qualified for. And you narrow in on those, you complete it, you go out and you make your bag. But outside of those three, aside from hitting the lottery, I don't know how else you're going to do it.
