Why it worked

The video leverages the popular TikTok platform and a trending topic (makeup routines) to introduce a novel app that provides direct value to users interested in beauty. The 'reveal' of specific products used in a popular creator's look creates intrigue and a desire to replicate it, driving interest in the app's functionality.

Summary

The video showcases a new app called Prettier that analyzes TikTok videos to identify makeup products used in a specific look. It demonstrates how the app scans a video and then lists the exact products, including foundation, concealer, powder, bronzer, blush, eyeshadow, mascara, lip pencil, and lipstick, with their brand names.
