🥓 Creamy Bacon, Brie & Pea Pasta 🤍 Recipe 4 from my £25 Aldi shop → 10 family meals series 🛒 If you want all 10 recipes, they’re all available on my app — click the link in my bio 💚 This is one of those proper midweek dinners that feels like a treat but takes less than 15 minutes to get on the table. Crispy bacon, sweet peas and a creamy brie sauce all tossed through pasta… comfort food at its best. Don’t like brie? No problem — swap it for your favourite cheese. Mature cheddar, cream cheese or camembert would all work beautifully. It’s also a great freezer and store cupboard-style meal: ✔️ Bacon keeps well in the fridge/freezer ✔️ Peas are always handy in the freezer ✔️ Pasta is a cupboard staple ## Creamy Bacon, Brie & Pea Pasta Serves 4 ### Ingredients * 300g spaghetti (or your favourite pasta) * 200g bacon, cooked until crispy and chopped * ½ onion, finely diced * 40g butter * 40g plain flour * 500ml chicken or vegetable stock * 200g brie, chopped (remove rind if preferred) * 150g frozen peas * Black pepper * Optional: ½ tsp garlic granules or chilli flakes Method 1. Cook the pasta in salted water and reserve a mug of pasta water before draining. 2. Cook the bacon until crispy, then chop into pieces. 3. Fry the onion in a little oil or butter until softened. 4. Add the butter, then stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute. 5. Slowly add the stock, stirring until you have a smooth sauce. 6. Add the brie and stir until melted and creamy. 7. Stir through the peas, bacon and pasta, loosening with pasta water if needed. 8. Finish with plenty of black pepper and serve. A simple, comforting dinner that proves you don’t need loads of ingredients to make something special. 💚 Much Love, Jade x
