Save this for your next 10-minute full-body workout ✨ I’ve been teaching Pilates for 20 years, and if I only had 10 minutes to work the entire body, this is one of the movements I’d come back to again and again. 🤍 Your supporting glute and hamstring stay switched on to keep the hips lifted, while the arms, shoulders and upper back support the reverse plank. As the opposite leg moves, your deep core works continuously to stabilise the pelvis and keep everything controlled. Try this: ✨ Reverse Plank Hinge x12 each side 🤍 Complete 4 rounds (each leg) I’m using a foam roller here for an extra challenge, but you can absolutely perform the movement with your supporting foot on the floor. If you’re building up to the full exercise: ✨ Start with a Reverse Plank Hold ✨ Progress to slow Hip Dips ✨ Add Alternating Marches ✨ Progress to the Single-Leg Hinge ✨ Add the foam roller last Keep the hips lifted and level, ribs connected and think about reaching the moving leg long rather than simply trying to lift it higher. Slow, controlled repetitions are the goal. ✨ ✨ Stronger deep core ✨ Lifted glutes ✨ Toned arms ✨ Better posture 10 minutes. One movement. Almost the entire body. 🤍 Save this for your next quick full-body workout and follow for Pilates that actually works. ✨
