Save this for a flat stomach ✨ After 20 years of teaching Pilates and training runway models, this is one of the deep-core series I keep coming back to when I want to challenge the abdominals, strengthen the lower stomach and build more control through the entire midsection. 🤍 The foam roller adds an extra stability challenge, so your deep abdominals have to stay switched on as the legs move and the pelvis works to remain steady. Try this: ✨ Straight Leg Sweeps x12 ✨ Hip Dips x12 ✨ Pikes x12 ✨ Rotated Knee Tucks x12 🤍 Complete 4 rounds If you’re still building towards the full movements, progress gradually: ✨ For the reverse plank leg sweeps, begin with a strong reverse plank hold, then add a small leg hover before increasing your range. ✨ If the pikes feel too challenging, lower onto your elbows and practise small, controlled leg lifts first before progressing to the full movement. Keep the ribs connected, pelvis controlled and think about gently drawing the lower stomach inward throughout each repetition. Slow and controlled will always beat trying to make the movement bigger. ✨ ✨ Flat stomach ✨ Snatched waist ✨ Stronger deep core Save this for your next deep-core workout and follow for more Pilates that actually works. 🤍 #Pilates #RunwayWorkout #DeepCore #LowerAbs #PilatesWorkout
