Save this to flatten your lower abs ✨ This is one of those exercises that looks simple, but when you slow it down and really control every part of the movement, your entire core has to work. As the legs lower to 45 degrees, your deep abdominals work to stabilise the pelvis. Then as you lift the legs, hinge them overhead and slowly articulate the spine back down, all four layers of the abdominals work together to control the movement. 🤍 You’re also getting beautiful articulation through the spine, which is one of the reasons I love adding this exercise into my own Pilates practice. I’m squeezing a small ball between my ankles to activate the inner thighs and create more connection through the deep core. No ball? A rolled-up towel or small cushion works perfectly. Try this: ✨ Rollover ×12 🤍 Complete 4 rounds The slower you go, the harder your core has to work. Think control over momentum and articulate the spine down one vertebra at a time. Save this for your next core workout and follow for Pilates that actually works. 🤍 #Pilates #CoreWorkout #DeepCore #AbWorkout #PilatesWorkout
