You're back with Jamie's Skills Series and cooking in the kitchen today is Alfie. To make your two ingredient fresh pasta, get your zero zero flour. We've got about 300g in here. Then we have 150ml of room temperature water. So you can make pasta with flour and water or flour and eggs. If you're going to do that then one large egg to 100g of flour will be perfect. And mixing the flour and the water together until it forms a sort of rough kind of shaggy dough. And then slowly you're just going to start kneading this into a nice ball of pasta dough. If it's too sticky then simply dust the counter and your hands with some flour and just keep kneading. Do that for about 5 to 10 minutes. We're going to wrap up our pasta dough. You're going to let that rest for about half an hour and then you're going to come back and you're going to roll it out. Chop it into a bit more of a manageable chunk. Make sure you have a nice floured work surface. Gently press it out. And all you're going to do is start rolling out your pasta dough. That's looking pretty good to me. You can almost see through it. Just to make sure it doesn't stick when we roll it up, get a good coating of flour. And then we'll just go one, two, three, four, five, six. And then very simply chop into small kind of tagliatelle sized pieces. Flour. This is where the magic happens. You're just gonna slowly start separating them. That is my two ingredient pasta. Very easy. Give it a go at home. Another daunting skill made easy. And we're coming to the end of our series. But next time we've got a big announcement to give you.
