There is a reason she stiffens when you trail your fingers down her arm and then disappears into you when you hold her hard. Her nervous system sorts touch into two categories. Light, moving touch goes to the same place as a bug on the skin or a stranger brushing past, and her body answers with alarm before her mind ever gets a vote. Deep, steady pressure goes somewhere else entirely. It tells her body that the world has edges and she is held inside them. Most women like this have been flinching at gentle touch since childhood. A grandmother stroking her hair. A partner tracing circles on her back. Every time she pulled away, someone looked hurt, and she learned that her body was rejecting love. So she started holding still through touch that made her skin crawl, to protect other people from a flinch she could not control. The fix in the video has nothing to do with wanting her less. It is about touching her in the language her body actually speaks. She has spent her whole life being called cold by people who were touching her wrong.
