⬇️ READ HIS STORY ⬇️ How does a dog this sweet hold the title of the longest resident at the shelter? I honestly cannot understand. Boomer has been waiting for 85 days. He first showed up as a stray at the shelter on July 7, and not one single person came looking for him. He has always been the happiest and sweetest boy. Day after day, he stands at his kennel door, looking at everyone who walks past him, yet nobody has chosen him. Walking the longest resident at the shelter is such a scary feeling because you can’t help but wonder… What if nobody chooses him? What if nobody comes? Today, I took Boomer out to record this video for him, and the whole time we spent together, I just could not stop smiling. He is such a happy boy and truly loves everyone he meets. Boomer is good with other dogs, and he has also done really well with kids he has met at the shelter. All he needs is one person to say yes to him. It breaks my heart that every time I walk past his kennel, he is standing there looking at everyone with the most hopeful eyes.
