A California high school football captain was disciplined after posting “Free the Cornell 7,” expressing support for seven men accused in a disturbing sexual assault lawsuit. More than 200 students reportedly WALKED OUT in protest. Being a team captain comes with responsibility. And publicly rallying behind men accused of sexual violence deserves scrutiny. The accused deserve due process. The alleged victim deserves compassion.
