We have GREAT NEWS. Joshua’s family has confirmed that he has been found safe in Dorp Street, Stellenbosch. After the desperate search following his reported hijacking in Cloetesville, he is now back with his loved ones. The relief is immense, and we are deeply grateful that this young man is no longer missing. To everyone who shared the appeal, watched for the silver Fiat, and stayed alert in Stellenbosch and surrounding areas…THANK YOU. Your willingness to spread the word and look out for one another made a real difference. Communities like this show what is possible when people stand together. At the same time, we must acknowledge the reality that remains. Hijacking continues to be one of the most traumatic and violent crimes in South Africa. Too many families still face the same fear and uncertainty that Joshua’s family endured. The physical and emotional impact on victims and their loved ones is lasting, and the number of people affected keeps growing. Awareness and community vigilance matter. Joshua’s family has asked us to pass on their heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped raise awareness and supported the search. We cannot thank you enough. Your shares, your eyes on the ground, and your care for a 21-year-old who simply needed to be found brought him home. We are relieved and grateful. Let us continue to look out for one another. #JustAdvocacy #JoshuaFoundSafe #Stellenbosch #CommunityStrong #HijackingAwareness
