We are making an urgent public appeal for information regarding the whereabouts of Amanda Khambule, a 27-year-old woman who has been missing since 28 September 2026. Amanda was last seen in the vicinity of Dr A B Xuma Street (formerly known as Commercial Street), Durban. Her family is frantic with worry and is desperately seeking any lead that could help locate her safely. Critical new information has come to light. In a voice note recorded only moments before she disappeared, Amanda can clearly be heard saying: “Call my aunt or my cousin and tell them I’m in town.” The recording ends with her voice filled with fear as she says, “I’m scared.” She also indicated that she was being followed by two men. These words paint a deeply concerning picture of a young woman who felt threatened and was actively trying to reach out for help in her final known moments. This detail makes the situation even more urgent. Amanda was clearly aware of danger and attempted to alert her family through a friend. We are appealing to anyone who was in the area of Dr A B Xuma Street on 28 September, or who may have seen a young woman matching her description, to come forward immediately. Whether you noticed two men acting suspiciously, saw Amanda speaking on her phone, or simply remember something that felt out of place, every detail matters. Amanda is a 27-year-old woman with a bright smile and a warm presence. The fact that she expressed fear and asked for her aunt or cousin to be contacted shows she was trying to protect herself and reach safety. If you have any information, no matter how small it may seem, please contact Amanda’s family without delay on 066 279 9744. You can also share this post across your networks so that more eyes and ears are looking out for her. Time is critical in missing persons cases, and community support can make a real difference. We urge members of the public, taxi drivers, shop owners, security personnel, and anyone who was in the area that day to think carefully about what they may have witnessed. If you received a call or message from Amanda, or if someone close to you mentioned seeing her, please reach out. Let us work together to bring her home safely. #JustAdvocacy #FindAmandaKhambule #MissingPerson #SouthAfricaMissing #HelpFindAmanda
