Despite a determined community effort last night, 10-year-old Shameeque Daries remains missing. The search will resume this morning (24 September 2026) at 09:00. Everyone is invited to meet at Wallacedene Clinic in Kraaifontein. Shameeque was last seen on 23 September at 09h36 near her home at 14 045 Pietersen Street, Wallacedene. She was wearing a maroon hoodie, black headcloth (doekie), red tracksuit pants with white stripes, and slip-ons. Earlier that day an unknown man had approached her, but she refused to go with him. Her mother later sent her to return a friend’s clothes nearby, she never returned. A missing-person case is open at Kraaifontein SAPS.
