Flight: Flight: $368 So my flight from Houston cost $368 15,000 chase points for about half the flight. So I only paid $180 out of pocket. And I flew Southwest, so my bags were free. Lucky enough, someone in the group was a degenerate gambler with an MGM Gold status. Room: Room: So we got our room upgraded and comped. And we only had to pay the taxes and cleaning fees. Which came out to $80 each, split four ways. And I mean, look at that view. We saw a show called Absinthe which cost $180. And we saw Diplo which only cost $55. I spent $341 on meals at bar tabs while we were there. And another $194 on a bachelor party dinner where we actually saw Dana White eating a couple tables over from us. I spent $120 on Ubers. Games: + $350 And I was up at the tables in the first half of the trip. Games: - $700 But managed to lose $700. Trip total w/o losses: $1,150 For a trip total without gambling losses of $1,150. Trip total w/ losses: $1,850 And after gambling losses of $1,850. But I don't feel terrible about my losses because apparently December was a record breaking month for Vegas. So at least I wasn't the only one.
