One thing I know for sure is that you cannot get mad at someone for something you did not communicate. Again, you cannot get mad at someone for something you did not communicate. Now, I know in your mind, you thinking, well they should just get it. They should just know. They should just understand. They know exactly what they're doing. But here's the truth of the matter. They don't. Sometimes people do not know, right? Now we not talking about the people who do things intentionally. We going to put them on the table. But the people that love you, that care about you, the people that like you, right? Nine times out of 10, they're not really trying to do things to intentionally hurt you or make you feel a way or bother you or annoy you or whatever it is, right? And another thing. People don't see life the way that you see life. Excuse me? People don't think the way that you think. People don't move the way that you move. Sometimes, the people that was brought up with you in your house, your siblings, your family, don't think the way that you think. Weren't brought up the way that you was brought up. So how do you expect your friend, your partner, um, your coworker, to just get it? To just know? More and more and more and more and more, I learned that communication is everything. It's not about what you say, it's how you say it. And if you share like, hey, you know, when you did this, that made me feel like that, or when you don't do this, it makes me feel like that, it's like, ah, okay. Like you give people the room to explain their perspective or apologise or whatever it is that you need. I think the goal is understanding, you know? And as I've grown older, especially when you realise that people be having so much on their plate, life be life and, or people just not even really thinking about you, whether that's good or bad, you know what I'm saying? Sometimes you just gotta have that conversation or sometimes you just gotta speak up for yourself because you are your best representative. And I think that often times, me included, back in the day, I used to be holding on to so much, like so many feelings because I didn't wanna say nothing. Cause I feel like, no, people should just know, people should just get it, people should just understand, people knowing what they doing, but people literally do not think like you think. How do you expect somebody to know? How do you expect somebody to just read your mind? And I look back on so many different situations where it's like, I could have said something about that. I shouldn't, I shouldn't have just taken that, you know, or I should have just explained or, or got curious and ask like, did you mean to do that like that? Because I would have felt better. And in turn, whoever that person is would have felt better as well. Or got a better understanding about how certain things make you feel.
