Realistic expectations for social media explained

Here's how many followers you should have at every year. Year one, 5,000 followers. Year two, 25,000 followers after your first viral videos. Year three, 75,000 followers. Year four is when you get recognized publicly at 200,000 followers. Year five, 500,000 followers when you turn content into your full-time career. Year six, 1,000,000 followers because you finally followed June. So there's things I love about this video and there's things I don't like, but I really want to point out the things I like and we'll get to what I don't like. So, a lot of y'all get on social media and and year one, you don't see more than 5,000 followers and you're looking around confused. Like, this takes time. This takes time. Y'all see the outliers get 100,000 followers in a year, 200,000 followers in a year and you think that that's normal. That is not normal. It is not easy to do. Even what he said with that six-year plan, there's people who won't even hit 500,000 followers, a million followers. They just simply won't hit it. Now, what I love about this is that it shows you that this is not a get rich quick scheme. If you're looking for followers, it's not going to be something that's done overnight. There's nothing that can be implemented sometimes to get you from zero to a million. Repetition, reps and consistency. And time. What I didn't really agree with in this video is he said at 500,000 followers, how you know when you can make this a full-time career. And that that with way less followers. We're seeing that with way less followers. I don't know people who are making this a full-time career with way less followers. If you have 100,000, you're good. 50,000 followers, you're good. Depending on the niche, of course, and offerings and all of those things. But this is just an announcement that if you are not seeing hundreds of thousands of followers in your first year, and you're questioning why you're not on a fast track to what takes people years, it's absurd. And I think you guys see like once again, the outliers hit those random numbers at random times in a fast way and you think that that's the norm. When essentially it is not. And the numbers prove that. So I hope this encourages you if you are in year one, year two, year three, year four, you could be in year 10, even if you're not seeing the numbers that you want, you have to keep being consistent and perfect your craft and get better at what you're doing and have a personal brand that stands out from the rest. And that's it. This is just an announcement that if you are not seeing hundreds of thousands of followers, and you're in your first year, oh well, what do you do? You're new to the space, you've never done this before, and you're questioning why you're not on a fast track to what takes people years. It's absurd.
