How I’m Planning to Avoid Taxes in 2026 (Legally!) 1. Tax-advantaged investments A 401(k) lets me invest pre-tax dollars and reduce my taxable income. Since im self employed I can contribute alot. 2. Spending more money Any business expense can be written off, so I’m planning on investing way more on my business (equipment, travel, employees, etc.) 3. Buying a car (maybe) A company car that meets the qualifications under section 179 can also be written off for tax purposes. So could hypothetically buy a company car and write it off. 4. Locking in losses Selling stocks I’m down on to reduce the overall taxes I have to pay. I would only do this with positions i no longer resonate with. But with crypto you can actually buy the position back right away. 5. Real estate Planning on starting the process of buying a house, either for me or for rental, to take advantage of the tax benefits. No clue on what to do, so im learning more abt it now! #taxes #IRS #wealth #money #PersonalFinance
