How did a kid from Northwest London go from sleeping on his sister's couch to building a 43 million pound a year streetwear brand? This is Clinton, the founder of Corvettes. A few years ago, his family was evicted from their home. Clinton was sleeping on his sister's couch broke but obsessed with fashion. So he started selling clothes with just 500 pounds. He had no fashion degree, no marketing budget. Early Corvettes stock was shipped straight to his parents' house. Instead of traditional ads, Clinton built hype through viral chaos, the Instagram was private. The website only opened for hours. If you weren't locked in, you missed the drop. Then came the frenzies. Hundreds of people trading Moncler supreme and North face jackets in a car park just to get cortés. 99 pence cargo pants sold in person creating chaos on the streets. Pop ups announced with map coordinates only. In New York, cortés sold clothes inside a decommission subway station. In Atlanta, a drop inside a strip club. Each US pop up pulling six figures in a single day. Even Nike noticed. After an early season dissist from the billion dollar company, Cortez went on to release seven global sneaker collaborations with Nike, all selling out and the numbers followed. Today, Cortez generates 43 million pounds in annual revenue. A bad drop still does 5,000 orders. A good one clears 10,000 plus orders in hours. Around 15% of orders now come from the US. The entire brand is run by a lean 10% team. Clinton still owns 100% of the company. No out outside investors.
