Have you heard a client tell you your ads don't work, but as soon as you turn them off, their whole fucking business falls apart? Yeah, that's not an ads problem. That's a conversion tracking problem. You see your client thinks your ads don't work because your conversion data makes it look like your ads don't work. And when clients think your ads don't work, they fire you. So, if you want clients who actually trust you and see how much money you make them every day, you need to fix your conversion tracking and here's how. Right now, most agencies under report their clients' ads and performance by 20% every single month. This agency's Facebook ads were making this client $50,000 more than they thought every single week, but they had no idea because they're tracking suck. This agency was missing 200 leads and over $40,000 of revenue every month that their ads were creating because they're tracking sucked. Both of those agencies were getting shit on by their client for doing a bad job when they actually weren't and they just didn't have the data to prove what they were doing. So if that sounds like you or your client, the problem is that you're using outdated tracking systems to try and measure your clients's ad results. You see the system you're using right now is probably made up of pixels, hard coded scripts and janky ass, third-party integrations and software that you just threw together to try figure out how your ads perform. Those all rely on third-party cookies, which as I'm sure you've heard, get blocked super easily by Safari and make your conversions basically impossible to track accurately. That is why your clients ads never look like they're doing well even when they are and that's why your clients ask you to turn their ads off and they're fucking business falls apart. So if you're tired of trying to convince your clients that your ads work, you need a better system for tracking conversions that shows your client how much money you actually make them every month. Here's how you do that. So basically it's called first party tracking, which means you set up a server, which is like a little computer that sits under your website and that's the thing that places cookies. And because the server belongs to your client's website, it's first party, which means it places first party cookies. That means when Safari looks at your customers and see who's trying to track them, it's no longer Facebook.com or Google or TikTok or Reddit or LinkedIn. It's your client's website.com. Since you're the one tracking customers and not some third party, Safari lets you stay because it trusts you. So you get to track more customers, you get to track them longer and you get to send all of that data back to add platforms so you start getting results like the ones you saw in those. Your client would probably shit their pants if they found out how much money your ads actually make them every month, but you just don't have that evidence right now and that's why they don't fully trust you. And to be honest, it's kind of your fault because you're the one who's supposed to be measuring your client's outcomes and if you don't do a good job of it, then you can't blame them for thinking that your ads don't work. So, more of the story here, fix your tracking system so that one, you can start running better ads with more complete data and two, your client can finally see how much money you actually make them every month and trust you to continue doing the work you're doing.
