Stop using thank you pages to track your Facebook and Instagram leads. When someone submits your lead form, they are giving you valuable first name, last name, phone number, email, first name, last name, phone number, email, this is the stuff Facebook wants to know about more people like this person. When you use a thank you page to track this is what you're absolutely nothing outside of their IP address, their device and their browser. Imagine you hired a sales rep to get you more leads when they asked you what kind of lead you wanted, all you gave them was a list of IP addresses, devices, customers use. How useless is that? Instead of using a thank you page, use a form listener through Google Tag Manager that listens to all of these your leads to give you, pulls and sends it over what it looks like. Here's what it looks like. Leads fill out the same, they've out in your funnel. Submit it, firing on this thank you page. The actual form submission. Your form listener is going to pull out every response they gave you in that lead form to send it to Facebook. So now you're tracking leads with this information. First name, last name, email address, phone number, country, zip code, external ID, browser ID, IP address, last name, phone, user agent, ZIP code. Everything Facebook needs to know about who your lead is, so it can find you exactly like that. This is how you get Facebook at a lower cost. You tell them who your leads are, what they look like, on your website. Thank you pages. Which set of data would you rather give a sales rep if you wanted them to find you more leads? This one or this? Stop using pages to track and Instagram leads. It's killing your campaigns.
