Here is how you can get a paper texture effect in Procreate! Paper textures add so much to a digital art piece. This is an easy way to make your procreate art look more realistic! #procreatetutorials #procreatepaper #procreatetips #procreateideas #procreateapp The first thing you're gonna want to do is go to Google and search up a paper texture. Here's the drawing without a paper texture and then here's the drawing with a paper texture. Once it's all saved, you're going to go back into Procreate and hit the wrench tool. Then you're going to hit insert a file or photo depending on where you saved it. Here I'm just going to my watercolor pack and I'm going to hit the paper textures and now I'm just picking one out. Once you tap on it, it's going to automatically import. Now I'll hit that arrow tool and now I'm just going to resize it. And you can make it fill the whole canvas or you can make it smaller because this one has perforated edges. Next, I just open my layers panel and I'm gonna set that to linear burn. This is just a color mode that really helps give the watercolor effect. And here's the finished result. I love her. You can also get the effect with canvas textures for the canvas textures and oil brushes I really like to set it to multiply versus linear burn. And that just helps give it more of a canvas texture versus a paper texture.
