So, it's been 10 days since I started using Claude. These resources are really helping me grapple with the state of the world in AI and how I can actually use it practically in my day-to-day business, and also the new way of thinking that we all have to adopt to start using AI. The ADHD resource I mentioned was from this amazing creator. It gives you all the instructions that you need to give Claude in order to help you with your own productivity, and I am experimenting with this, but I wanted to link it for everyone who asked. This piece about AI, humanities, and the future of work really resonated with me. I studied political science and I'm a huge, huge proponent of the humanities. I am a huge advocate for classical education and for higher education. Anti-intellectualism has been on the rise for a very long time. This article talks about how the future of deep thinking is at risk, so as we are acquiring new skills in the AI landscape, we also need to make sure that we are preserving deep thinking and humanities, and I want everyone to read this because I think it's very important to not get lost in like the technological upswing. My Claude code psychosis is this amazing Substack article that walks through why we need to change the way that we think about technology. What she uses is that humans are using AI like asking horses to run faster instead of inventing cars. It's a very, very practical article where she walks through how she went from using AI in a very basic way to building apps that were like life-changing for her and also like the realities of how scary and crazy that is. Instead of using Claude to like organize my desktop, I need to be using it to organize my entire like second brain, basically. Oh, there's so much work. I'm going to try to use it to streamline a big workflow in my consulting business this weekend and I will give you the update on Monday.
