Their other posts in the index, biggest breakout first.
I've been thinking about friendships and specifically your 20s and I've come up with five friends that I think you need in your life. This isn't just stress, by the way, it's just something to think about. Someone, One [the grounding one]. Truth, even when uncomfortable. This is usually someone who has seen many past versions of you, they have been in your life for a long time and you genuinely support and trust them fully. So they're able to tell you the honest truth, even if it's uncomfortable and you know it comes from love and care. The second is someone, Two [the fellow dreamer]. Same thing, or a similar thing to you, but you aren't in competition with them. And it's very important that you aren't in competition with them. But you're embarking on a similar journey, probably share similar goals and you can walk together as you go down similar paths. On the other hand, you need someone who is doing something completely different to you, that exists outside of your world, that probably does a job you don't even understand. If you need advice that is outside of the sort of herd mentality that you live in, or you need someone to console in, they are there. Four [the bigger picture]. Sister, older, a bit more head in life and guidance, perspective. It's really helpful, especially when you're navigating a lot of different things. Having someone who's through and out the other side, refreshing, you perspective. Someone, Five [the expander]. Challenges you. Having a friend who might have different views to you, who might be very different to you, but they push you out of your comfort zone. Maybe you always go to the same cafe, you hang out with the same friends, you're exploring the same area. They push you out of your box, help you explore a different side to yourself and think differently.
