My activewear business is currently failing and I have no idea what to do anymore. Okay, so let's break it down and have a look. First of all, I want to say that this is a great strategy. Australians love supporting the Aussie battler. So the organic traction you get for being vulnerable will give you a lot of support. Now firstly, let's dive into your homepage. Now my big belief is conversion rate optimization is not going to help a lot of businesses. If you have a good, standard, operational website that people can purchase from, that is enough. Because what it comes down to is product-market fit. The right product at the right price point hitting the right addressable market is all you need to be successful and drive sales. Now there's probably two key things that I think are really affecting the results for this brand. First one is price point. Price point is trying to compete with other fitness wear brands without the name or the brand behind it. So going for a more premium price point is always going to be difficult. Selling t-shirts for $65 and leggings for 80 bucks, you're competing with the big players in the industry. And you don't have a name or a brand yet. I think a lot of people are going to argue with me here. Reverse engineering your COGS or pricing the product where the market is, but I absolutely disagree. If you look at your metrics on your Shopify and your revenue per session is below $2, then you've got a problem. You don't have product-market fit. And you've got players in this space like LSKD that are selling tights for half the price. First thing I would be doing is lowering my price. Most activewear brands run at about an 80% margin. So you've got room to move here. But the thing I would add on your product pages is bundling. So instead of selling one item for 60 bucks, you could sell two for 90, which is generating more gross profit per order. The other thing I would be doing is I can see your free shipping threshold is at $200. Shipping thresholds are the number one deterrent for any sale on any website. If you could just lower this threshold to either 70 or 80 dollars, you'll get an instant uplift. The best way to see if your shipping thresholds are actually affecting the results, look at the way that people are moving through your sales funnel. Look at your amount of add to carts, look at your amount of initiate checkouts and then look at your amount of purchases. And see how this funnel is getting affected by these changes. And lastly, I see that you are not running any ads. I know you do lives on TikTok to increase customer engagement, but running a really simple setup inside of your Meta ads account, utilizing your existing Reels creative and even your TikTok creative through your Meta ads account, you can get a really good gauge of what people are clicking on, what your click-through rate, CPC, CPMs are, what products people are actually buying, and then how to do more of what's actually working. So right now you're probably going really blind with your creative and not actually understanding what your customers want or need.
