I earned just over £260,000 last year as a self-managed creator through brand partnerships. And so far this year is also tracking well. A lot of those partnerships have come from brand relationships. I'm here to break down the business side of content and get into what it is to be a commercial creator and really have your back as a creator. So let's get into how to pitch yourself properly. Because if there's any bad advice I see on social media around getting brand deals, it's pitching. Disclaimer. This does not just work for me. Anyone that I've helped pitch to brands has had success with it too. So let's get going. The most important thing that I need you to understand is that pitching is not spamming brands. Before you pitch anything, your organic content, brand alignment, personal brand, positioning has to be doing the work first. Because that pitch that you're going to send is essentially a case study of what is already landing. Step 1. Before you write a single word is to get these things ready. From here, we're going to pitch to a brand not asking for a brand deal, but to build a relationship. So follow along because in the next video I'm going to be going over exactly what that pitch should say, line by line.
