If you are wanting to get paid like a creator do not fall into the yapping trap I cannot shout about this loudly enough I've seen yapping videos completely takeover off of the back of Jessi Jean's like incredible launch on and I think it's fantastic right? But these yapping videos these talking head videos serve the purpose for a particular thing whilst a yapping video can build trust with audience bring a personality across make people feel connected they're hard to bring product placement in to bring brand alignement in so it totally depends and you have to think of this early on in terms of how you want to build as a creator how you want to earn. If you wanted to earn primarily through monetising your audience through like selling courses anything like that then maybe talking heads will be like your direct route to that okay. But if you're sat there thinking I would love to work with brands one day or I would like to have an avenue of my content then if all your videos are literally your head in a box talking directly to the camera it's going to be really tricky for a lot of brands a lot of different types of brands and stuff to have fit content. So my best advice honestly would be to mix up to have different content types come into play and you do not have to overthink it. If it feels more natural to talk to camera about certain things while you're getting ready, that's fine. Equally if you're able to just film clips of your day as you go about as you do something then film those and put a voice over to it. I personally started out just yapping to camera and then when I started to integrate in other footage and stuff that's where my brand deals really blew up. So before you think the only way to succeed is to yap to camera now, think of how you want to earn. This is your place to learn how I break it all down. I break down the business side of content. So please do ask anything that you would like to know and follow along for more from me.
