This has to be the highlight of my time here in India. Spend a day with me at Giby Farm where I was able to see beautiful views of Kerala and just fully relax. I had my favorite type of morning, which is a slow morning. They have the best masala chai and I was able to watch fishermen catch crabs. I also brought my watercoloring set just to paint. And here's my mango that's a little unfinished still. Later into the morning, Giby Uncle, who the farm is actually named after, was able to give us a tour of the property. I tried mangosteen for the second time and I absolutely loved it. I'd say the flavor is best described as a mix between mango, banana, and orange. After the tour, my sister and I go on a boat ride. It was actually one of those memories that I'll never forget because it was just that beautiful out there. The entire area was so peaceful and quiet because we're so far removed from any city noise. Now for the food, food, food. For breakfast, I had three idiyappam, I had egg roast, and kadala curry. And it was insanely good. I will share the rest in part two.
