sunday in my life in kerala. last week we went to an orthodox service with my mom's side of the family and this week we went with my dad's side to the marthoma church. this was an early morning english service which is our first experience of an english service here. a fun fact is my dad actually wrote a lot of the marthoma english service chants so it's always fun to hear them wherever we go. after church, was the fellowship hour which is held outside. usually there's coffee and snacks but since it was so early today, we actually decided to go somewhere for lunch. and this is a clip of us driving over because we had one too many people in the car. i guess this is actually more like breakfast because it was still early but we had dosa and a classic coffee in these tin cups which is somehow hits a little harder. after this we visited some relatives houses. it's always so impressive how well maintained everyone's gardens are, especially considering how many different plants there are. then lunch of course happened to be biryani and cutlets and that was basically the day.
