Every time you create a Microsoft Team, you have to create at least one channel. Let's say that you call this channel "Main". When you created that Microsoft Team, it automatically created a SharePoint site with the same name. Now, that SharePoint site has a document library in it. The document library has a folder in it. And guess what the name of the folder is? It is "Main". So if you're in SharePoint and you upload a document into the "Main" folder, when you go over to Teams, you're going to see that document, that same document in "Main" channel. The channel in Teams is a folder in SharePoint. If you delete it in Teams, it deletes it off SharePoint. If you delete it in SharePoint, it deletes it off Teams. I'm telling you, it's a folder in Teams. It's a folder in SharePoint. Unless a channel is a private channel, or a private channel, or a private channel, those create sites. Those create sites. Literal SharePoint sites.
