Baseball is dying because they sell to a version of America that no longer exists. My name is Amelie, I built a $50 million company at 23 and I talked about startups and branding. Here's how I'd fix baseball. Baseball needs to feel cool again, which means bringing things like dispensaries, sports betting and content creation into baseball stadiums. Today, baseball kind of feels like going to church on Sundays. You spend a long time sitting, bored, and not a lot happens. If we can make baseball cool again and feel more like a casino, that's where you're going to win the next generation. Most baseball team owners won't do that because they're too scared of losing their existing aging audience. But that's what it would take to make the sport work.
