Felt a few days ago a three-time Grammy award winning pop artist said being heartbroken is truly one of the most wonderful feelings anyone could ever experience. And that might sound crazy, but French philosopher Albert Camus would probably agree when he said there is not love of life without despair about life. And it's the pain of the heartbreak that actually gives your love meaning. If you cared about them, it hurts when you leave. It shows that when you were the one who loved, you never really lose because everything is a win when the goal is to experience. You can say this is a bit delusional, absurd, but you can see this in so many different modalities of psychology, behavioral, cognitive behavioral therapy, the reframe, parts work, it's giving parts work, unburdening yourself, radical self-acceptance, accepting your pain exactly as it is. And life there's no real guarantees, especially when it comes to happiness. So maybe the point was never to chase happiness as the goal to experience the full spectrum of emotion as a sign that we are living, human, to the fullest.
