Welcome Welcome back to my series hiking in Cincinnati where Rocky and I explore local trails and let you know if they're worth visiting. Today we checked out South 80 Gardens and Scenic Trails in Merrimont. This hidden gem offers about three and a half miles of with a main gravel loop and several dirt paths that branch off into the woods. For a little extra adventure, the gravel the gravel trail circles South 80 Gardens, a community garden where local residents can reserve plots and grow vegetables, and flowers. As you explore the trail system you'll find paths that run alongside the Little Miami River and others that follow Whiskey Creek all the way to where it meets the river. If you're planning a visit it's recommended to park at the Merrimack Community Pool and walk down the hill underneath the bridge to access the trails. Rocky and I Rocky and I had a great time exploring all the different and seeing where Unfortunately, Unfortunately, our adventure got cut short when the rain rolled in but there's but there's still plenty left for us to discover based We definitely recommend checking out the South 80 Gardens and scenic trails if you're looking for a peaceful place to explore around Cincinnati.
