👾 If you’re applying for a leadership position, here’s something I see all the time… Amazing teachers accidentally answer executive questions from the perspective of a classroom teacher. They tell the panel about their lesson. Their class. Their students. But leadership interviews are looking for something bigger. They’re listening for your ability to influence others, build staff capacity, lead improvement, and create impact beyond your own classroom. It doesn’t mean you need years of formal leadership experience. Many of the stories you already have can be elevated simply by shifting the lens. Instead of stopping at “my class improved…”, ask yourself: 💚 How did I influence my team? 💚 What systems did I help strengthen? 💚 What changed because of my leadership? 💚 How did this benefit more students than just my own? That shift is often what separates a strong classroom teacher from a strong leadership applicant. 💚 Save this carousel for the next time you’re updating your application or preparing for an interview, and follow along for more practical tools, leadership tips and strategies to help you tell your story with confidence. #teachersoftiktok #teacherjobs #teacherinterviews #keyselectioncriteria #classroomjobs
