YOU WANT MEN TO THINK LIKE WOMEN

Women will say they want a masculine man, but the second he starts acting like one, you can't stand it. You want him to be focused and driven until he's focused on work instead of the conversation you want to have. You want him to lead until he makes a decision you don't like. You want him to be logical until he doesn't react emotionally the way you do. Then suddenly he's what? Emotionally unavailable, selfish. He doesn't care. You don't get away with this either. You say you want a feminine woman until she cries, until she needs reassurance, until she takes an hour to get ready because she cares on how she presents herself. Or until she's sensitive to the atmosphere in your home and how people feel when they walk through the door. Then she's too emotional, too dramatic, too high maintenance. Get a fucking grip. You guys don't want masculine men and you don't want feminine women. You want people to give you all the benefits of masculinity and femininity while stripping away every part that inconveniences you. It doesn't work like that. So stop asking people to become a watered down version of themselves just because you're uncomfortable with the reality of what you asked for.
